RYAN HEWETT
|
Next week: Ryan Hewett opens his fifth major solo exhibition with the gallery, Nexus, where the worlds of futurism, transhumanism, and fantasy converge. Drawing reference from 'Generation Alpha', Hewett's oil paintings portray striking subjects embodying the identities of an imagined future.
The exhibition sees the South African artist exploring progressive new brushwork techniques and reintroducing familiar symbols, such as flowers and birds, which have appeared consistently in his work over the last 15 years. |
